Book your experience now and join the rose picking in Jabal Akhdar!
Your journey begins with a visit to the traditional rose factory, where you’ll learn how the famous Omani Damask rose is cooked and distilled using clay pots. You’ll also get to enjoy the aroma of local rose products like perfumes and rose water, along with a cup of Omani coffee infused with rose water.After the factory tour, drive to the rose farm location (which will be shared with you by our booking team), where a local guide will welcome you. You’ll then explore the beautiful terraced farms and learn the traditional way of picking roses while enjoying stunning views of the Jabal Akhdar cliffs and valley.
Note: Transportation is not included in this experience.

Special notes
The roses harvested will be given to the farm owner i.e the local guide after the activity as this is their source of income and they need the roses
Each person is allowed to take with him only 1 rose
The walk to the farm involves walking in narrow farm ways and on the traditional water irrigation channels (shown in the photos above) which might be not very flat or even , so you need to balance whilst walking on them. Booking this activity is your own responsibility and we are disclaimed from any responsibility
