The water in Wadi Al Hoqain is sulfuric and beneficial for the skin, but if you have an open wound, you must inform the guide or company as it may be risky. Guests must be comfortable swimming in fresh water and walking across uneven surfaces. Water flow may vary depending on the season, and swimming is at the guest’s own responsibility. Important NOTE :-
Wadi Mibam hike is a moderate level hike whereby there is manual rope abseiling of almost 12-15 meters long without using equipment’s or harness and then you will need to jump into the water from a height of 2-3 meters. average fitness is required and very good swimming skills are mandatory as fresh water stream flow may subject the guests to be dragged. Life jackets will be provided with helmets too (pre booking is required). Guests have to be wearing trekking non slippery water friendly shoes. Join us on a scenic and cultural trek through Jabal Akhdar, a highland paradise in the Al Hajar mountains known for its cool climate, dramatic canyons, and terraced farms. This Three Village Hike is a guided walking trail that starts in Al Aqar, passes through Al Ain, and ends in Al Sherijah — three charming mountain villages steeped in tradition and surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Your journey begins with a private 4WD pickup. After reaching the highlands, the trek starts:
-Al Aqar Village – Walk among traditional mud-brick homes and learn about local mountain life.
-Al Ain Village – Enjoy panoramic views of terraced farms and orchards carved into the cliffs.
-Al Sherijah Village – Discover ancient stone ruins and hear stories of the region’s history.
